There are four ways to participate in a CureSearch Challenge:

Corporate Challenge: For companies looking to engage their workforce and increase team morale.
Team Challenge: For individuals looking to participate in an established endurance event, like the New York City Half Marathon. Or for groups and teams who want to create a personalized fitness challenge.
Personal Challenge: For individuals who are starting a fit life and want to create a personal challenge, or are participating in their own race or event, i.e. Ragnar Relay, Ironman, a local 5K, etc.

Yes! Through the Personal Challenge, you can create a personalized page with details on your event/race.
MapMyFitness is already connected with our Challenge website through Everyday Hero. Once you have registered for CureSearch Challenge, all you need to do is create an account on MapMyFitness.com, download the app, link it to your fundraising page and start moving! To link your MapMyFitness and CureSearch Challenge/Everyday Hero accounts, please follow these instructions.
Your generous donation supports CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, a national non-profit that accelerates the search for cures for children’s cancer by driving innovation, eliminating research barriers and solving the field’s most challenging problems. We fight every day to make treatment possible and a cure probable for the 43 children diagnosed with cancer daily. Ultimately, CureSearch is working to change the odds for those children most at risk.
No. There is no registration fee to create a fundraising page on CureSearchChallenge.org.

Our easy-to-use online fundraising site allows you to create your own unique web page through Everyday Hero. Your webpage can be personalized with a photo and “about me” section. It will show your fundraising total and activity tracked on MapMyFitness, demonstrating your success to your family and friends and why they should support you.
If you create a custom challenge, there is no minimum. But we do encourage each participant to create a personal fundraising goal. Your family and friends want to help you succeed!
If you are participating in an established endurance event, like the New York City Half Marathon, the race requires a minimum. Each minimum varies by event. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
No. Fundraising will be challenge specific. Sponsored Challenges will run 43 days, Corporate Challenges based on company preference, Team Challenge based on race affiliation, Personal based on race or personal goals. Any challenge and all fundraising can be done year-round.
